Carmen slowly came walking into the room. Finn was practically in shock the moment she saw her daughter. She got up from her seat. "Carmen."
"Mom," Carmen practically threw herself over her mother.
Finn held her daughter tightly in her embrace, stroking her hair and kissing her cheeks.
"I'll go check on your brother, Finn, and you two can get back on track with things, hmm?" Meno turned to leave, walking down to where Vel and Zil were sitting. "How's Oserian?"
"Not well," answered Zil. "He's depressed and filled to the limit with mourn."
"Let's hope he doesn't do anything he'll regret." Meno said as he narrowed his eyes to a sudden pounding of the wall as if someone shattered it. "I spoke too soon it seems."

Ziltai sat in his normal seat outside of the Bazaar Inn. He removed his cowl, his now white hair falling over his shoulders as he rubbed his eyes. How could this all be happening?
